Troubleshooting
Symptoms you can search for — nothing placed, greyed-out exports, design warnings, missing cables or energy — and the setting behind each one.
Find the symptom below and read the entry under it. Each one says what the application is doing, why, and which input or switch to change.
Licence messages are not here. Every message the licence check produces has its own entry in Licence problems.
Three things that explain most surprises
- A missing figure is usually a step you have not run. Cables and energy are
separate, opt-in calculations, and a
—in the Summary view means not computed. - Missing tables are usually a subtraction that is switched on. The boundary is shrunk by the perimeter road, then obstructions, corridors, terrain exclusions and equipment footprints come out of what is left.
- Greyed-out exports usually mean an input changed. The layout remembers the inputs it was generated from; once one differs, the results are out of date and nothing exports until you regenerate.
